DEVELOPMENT OF PERCEIVED FAMILY BOUNDARIES IN YOUNG ADULTS SCALE

The purpose of this research is to develop a relevant and reliable scale that aims measure the family boundaries perceived by young individuals. A 64-item item pool was created researchers, content validity index calculated on items where opinions from 10 different experts were submitted. application form, which reduced 51 after experts’ feedbacks, applied total 384 people observations obtained analyzed Explanatory Factor Analysis. EFA relieved has explained 43% variance 3 subscales. factors are named as "Freedom", "Rules" "Privacy". internal consistency coefficient found .85. Internal coefficients .87 for Freedom subscale, .78 Rules .64 Privacy subscale. tested with Confirmatory Analysis confirm structure it relieved. It been CFA fit indices within acceptable limits convergent divergent validity.
